Captain Jim Fishing offers Trout charters December thru March below the Lake Cumberland Wolf Creek dam in Kentucky! This type of fishing is “drift fishing” jigging bait (for huge Rainbow and Brown Trout up to 13 pounds!). These trips are seasonal depending on the Wolf Creek Dam generation schedules.

We launch at the Wolf Creek dam.
For you experienced fly fishermen out there, we offer fly fishing trips March thru October (YOU BRING YOUR OWN GEAR!) to catch “schooling” smaller (1 to 5 pounders) Rainbows and Brown Trout.
For the non-fly fishermen, we also offer light spinning gear - casting small lures on ultralight rods to catch “schooling” smaller (1 to 5 pounders) Rainbows and Brown Trout.
Or if you want to go after world class Stripers, you fly fishermen have the option of bring heavy duty fly rods and large flies to go after these big Stripers!
Or for the non-fly fishermen, we offer bait caster or spinning reels to cast our brand of Captain Jim “glide baits” to go after these big Stripers! Click here to see the lures we cast!
